People decide whether to trust a business in a few seconds, usually from a logo on a sign, a truck, a menu or a website. If those pieces look like they came from four different places, the business looks smaller and less sure of itself than it is.

Branding fixes that. We work out what makes your business different, design a logo and visual identity around it, and give you the files and rules to use it the same way everywhere. The result is a business that looks as good as the work it does.

What a brand project includes

Six pieces, scoped to what your business needs. A new business might need three of them. A growing team might need all six.

Brand strategy.

Who you serve, what sets you apart and how you should sound, written down so every design choice has a reason.

Logo design.

A distinctive mark that works at every size, from a social icon to a storefront sign.

Visual identity.

Colors, typefaces and design elements that make your business recognizable even without the logo.

Brand guidelines.

A style guide that keeps things consistent for your team, your printer and anyone else who works on your materials.

Brand refresh.

A modern update to an identity people already know, keeping the recognition you have earned.

Brand in use.

Business cards, signage, social templates and your website, so the new brand shows up everywhere it should.

Branding for Asheville and WNC businesses

We work with small businesses across Western North Carolina: new businesses getting ready to open, established ones whose look no longer matches who they are, and nonprofits that need to look as credible as the work they do.

The studio has been based in Asheville since 2021 and has designed brands, logos and websites for clients for fifteen years. You work with me directly, from the first conversation to the final files.

Asheville branding FAQ

How much does branding cost in Asheville?

Our branding projects start at $2,500. The final price depends on what you need: a logo and color palette for a new business costs less than a full identity with brand strategy and guidelines for a team. You get a fixed quote after a free call, before any work starts.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand?

A logo is one mark. A brand is the whole system people recognize you by: the logo, colors, typefaces, photography style and the way you talk about your business. A logo on its own tends to look different everywhere it appears. A brand system keeps it consistent.

How long does a branding project take?

Most small business branding projects take four to eight weeks from the first call to final files. A logo refresh can be quicker, and a full identity with guidelines takes longer. We agree on the schedule before we start.

What files do I get at the end?

You get your logo in every format you will need, for print and screen, in color and one-color versions, plus your color codes and fonts. Projects that include guidelines also get a style guide PDF you can hand to a printer, a sign maker or a new hire.

Can you update our existing logo instead of starting over?

Yes. If people already know your logo, a refresh often makes more sense than a new one. We keep what is working and modernize the rest, so you do not lose the recognition you have built.

Can you also design our website?

Yes, and it is usually easier when one studio does both, because the website is where most people meet your brand first. Custom websites start at $4,500. We can plan the brand and the site as one project or one after the other.
