Most websites do not fail all at once. They slowly fall behind: the design starts to look dated, the phone version gets awkward, pages load a little slower every year, and the team stops updating it because it is a chore. Visitors notice before you do, and they leave.

A redesign fixes the whole picture without throwing away what already works. We keep the pages and content that bring in traffic, rebuild the design and structure around what your customers need, and launch a faster site your team can actually keep up to date.

What our website redesign services include

Every redesign starts with a look at what your current site does well and where it loses people. These six pieces are part of every project.

Site audit.

A review of your pages, traffic, leads and search rankings, so we know what to keep, fix or cut.

New design and structure.

A custom design and clearer navigation, built around the pages your customers actually use.

SEO and redirects.

Every old URL mapped, ranking pages kept, titles and descriptions carried over, Search Console checked after launch.

Speed and mobile.

Fast pages on every phone, with images, fonts and code cleaned up as part of the rebuild.

Accessibility built in.

WCAG 2.2 AA checks on the new templates, so the redesign does not create new compliance problems.

Training and support.

A walkthrough for whoever edits the site, plus support after launch and an optional care plan.

Not sure if you need a redesign or just a few fixes? A free 30-minute call will tell you.

Signs your website needs a redesign

It looks older than your business

If your site still looks like it did five years ago, people assume the business has not changed either. A redesign brings the website up to the level of the work you do now.

It is hard to use on a phone

Most visitors arrive on a phone. Tiny text, crowded menus and buttons that are hard to tap send them back to the search results.

It no longer brings in leads

Fewer calls and form fills usually mean the site is slow, unclear about what you offer, or hard to act on. A redesign rebuilds the path from first visit to inquiry. See our recent work or try the website cost calculator.

How a website redesign runs

Four stages, with your feedback at each one, and your current site stays live until the new one is ready.

1

Audit.

We review your current site, traffic and leads, then agree on goals and a fixed quote.

2

Plan.

A sitemap, a content plan and a redirect map, agreed before any design starts.

3

Design and build.

Page designs refined with your feedback, then built, filled with content and tested on every device.

4

Launch.

Redirects go live, Search Console is monitored, and your team is trained on the new site.

Website redesign FAQ

How much does a website redesign cost?

Our website redesigns cost $3,500 to $7,500 for most small business and nonprofit sites. The price depends on how many pages and templates the site has, whether the content is being rewritten, and whether it moves to a new platform. Larger rebuilds are priced as a new custom site, from $4,500 to $15,000. You get a fixed quote after a free call, before any work starts.

How do I know if my website needs a redesign?

The usual signs: it looks dated next to your competitors, it is hard to use on a phone, it loads slowly, your team avoids updating it, or it brings in fewer calls and form fills than it used to. If the problem is one or two pages, a refresh may be enough. If it is the structure, the platform or the whole look, a redesign is the better spend.

Will a redesign hurt our Google rankings?

Not if it is planned properly. Most ranking drops after a redesign come from changed URLs without redirects, deleted pages that used to bring in traffic, or lost titles and descriptions. We map every old URL, keep or redirect the pages that rank, carry over the SEO details and check Search Console after launch.

How long does a website redesign take?

Most redesigns take six to ten weeks from the first call to launch. Sites with a lot of content or a platform change take longer. Your current site stays live the whole time, and we agree on the schedule before we start.

Do we have to change platforms?

No. We redesign on WordPress, Drupal or a headless setup like Next.js with Sanity. If your current platform works for your team, we keep it. If it is the thing holding you back, we will say so and quote the move as part of the project.

Can we keep our current content?

Yes. Most clients keep the content that works and rewrite the pages that do not. We start with an audit of what you have, what gets traffic and what brings in leads, so nothing valuable is thrown away.

What is the difference between a redesign and a new website?

A redesign improves the site you have: new design, better structure and faster pages, built around content and URLs that already exist. A new website starts from a blank page, usually because the business has changed or the old site is beyond saving. We will tell you which one you need on the first call.
