What you get

We’re a design and technology studio in Asheville. Not a template with your logo on it. A website built around how your business works, shipped with five things most cheap builds leave out.

Custom design, not a template.

Layouts built for your content, your brand, and the way your customers buy.

Built to work on every screen.

Designed and tested on phone, tablet, and desktop from day one. Most of your visitors are on a phone.

An SEO foundation baked in.

Clean structure, fast load times, proper meta and schema. The groundwork for getting found in local search.

A CMS you can run yourself.

Update pages, posts, and content without calling a developer.

Hosting and ongoing care.

Optional care plans keep your site fast, secure, and current after launch.

Honest pricing, no mystery quotes

No sales call to get a number. Where you land depends on page count, how custom the design is, and what the site needs to do.

Five years in Asheville, fifteen in the work

What we brought here is a standard. Sites that load fast on a weak mountain signal, read clearly on a phone, and still hold up three years after launch. The person who scopes your project is the person who designs it, builds it, and is still here after launch.

We will also be straight with you. The studio was founded in New York in 2011 and moved to Asheville in 2021, and the portfolio was built there: a women’s health practice, a legal marketing advisory, a data consultancy, a hospital, and a therapeutics company. None of them are local, and we are not going to pretend otherwise with a stock photo of the Parkway.

Many small-business sites in the region are old WordPress installs, slow or already compromised. If that is where you are starting, we also handle WordPress hack recovery and accessibility audits without a rebuild.

How we work

No mystery, no black box. Every project moves through four phases.

1

Research.

We study your market and competitors and record your goals in a shared notebook you can open any time.

2

Design.

We set the look and feel, then refine it with you until it sings.

3

Test.

We test across screen sizes and real conditions, and often find better solutions along the way.

4

Integrate.

We connect your brand, platforms, and workflows into one system, ready to launch and ready to grow.

Where we work in Western North Carolina

The studio is in Asheville and works across the region. Within an hour of downtown, we can meet in person, walk your space, or shoot photography for the site. After kickoff, everything runs through a shared project notebook, so you always know where things stand.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work with Asheville businesses?

No. We're based in Asheville and we love working with Western North Carolina businesses: Asheville, Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Weaverville, Fletcher, Arden, but we're not limited to them. Our portfolio spans healthcare, legal, professional services, and technology for clients both local and national. If you're nearby we'll happily meet in person; if you're not, our process runs just as smoothly remotely.

How long does a site take?

Most small-business sites take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months from kickoff to launch, depending on the number of pages, how custom the design is, and how ready your content is. Simple brochure sites move faster; sites with booking, e-commerce, or custom integrations take a bit longer. We'll give you a real timeline when we scope your project, not a guess.

What does it cost?

Most small-business websites land in the $4,500 to $15,000 range for a custom build, depending on page count, design complexity, and the functionality you need. We scope and quote every project up front, so you'll never get a surprise invoice. After launch, optional care plans start at $255/mo. You can see the full pricing breakdown on our blog and our services page.

Do you do SEO too?

Yes. Every site we build ships with an SEO foundation: fast load times, mobile-first markup, clean structure, proper meta and schema. It is included, not upsold. If you want to actively rank for competitive local terms and grow organic traffic, we offer ongoing SEO campaigns starting around $875/mo that cover keyword research, content, and technical optimization.

How much does a website cost in Asheville?

Most custom small business sites in this area run $4,500 to $15,000, and a redesign of an existing site usually falls between $3,500 and $7,500. Cheaper builds exist and template shops in the region start under $2,000. Those can be the right call for a one-page brochure site. What you are paying more for is a design built around your specific customers, a build that stays fast, and someone who picks up the phone two years later.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. We are based in Asheville and we will come to you anywhere within about an hour, so Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Weaverville, Fletcher, Arden, Waynesville and Brevard all count. Most projects run fine remotely too, so in-person is an option, not a requirement.

Do you work on WordPress, or only custom builds?

Both. We build custom sites and we also work on existing WordPress installs: redesigns, speed and security work, and full recovery if a site has been hacked. If your current site is a WordPress build you inherited from someone who has disappeared, that is a very common starting point around here and it is fixable.

Who will I actually be working with?

Sammy Elfatrany, the founder. This is a small studio, so the person who scopes your project is the person who designs and builds it. No account manager relaying messages to a team you never meet.

What if my business is seasonal?

A lot of businesses here have a hard peak. We plan launches around it. The worst time to change your website is three weeks before your busiest month, so we will either land it well before the season or wait until after it, and say so up front rather than pushing to bill sooner.

What happens after you submit

  1. 1

You fill in the planner. Five minutes, no account, no sales call.

  2. 2

Sammy reads it personally and comes back to you with any questions.

  3. 3

You get a written quote with a scope and a number you can plan around.
